Pacheco Pass Viticultural Area grapes grown on our ranch in the Southern Santa Clara Valley. It's our second production from our vineyard and we are very pleased. Malbec is of French Bordeaux origin but is most commonly now grown in Argentina and Chile. It is known for its deep red color and has a distinct nose and flavor. Aged 1 year in 25% new French Oak, it was bottled in November 2019 and has softened to be delightful.
